What I Wore :: I mustache you to quit making mustache jokes

I'm actually going to be so sad when mustaches go way way out (are they already?) because I love this sweater. Maybe I can paint it to look like a weird dog or something. In other news, today I did a little voice-over work and baked bread. Here's what you wear for that sort of thing.

More new shoes - yes I have a problem - I love how these are business in the front and party in the back. I wasn't sure about them at first, but now I kind of love them. Hiral from JustFab - also comes in black. True to size!

I think people were giving me weird looks while I took my own photos downtown. Whatever. Oh, and PS, if you'd like to see some other outfit ideas for these shoes, I dreamed up a few on Polyvore. It's kind of what I've been doing when I'm bored lately.

What I Wore :: Bundled Up

BRRRRRRRRabbit! It finally got cold! Pug got approximately a four minute walk today because I couldn't stand to be outside. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. I love layers and I've just been dying to pull out some heavier sweaters.

I don't think there's a perfect cold weather outfit formula. For the north, it's pretty much survival of the fittest and for the south, it's "you're gonna be freezing outside and sweating inside" so my priority is always layers. If there were a formula, though, it would be tall boots and a chunky infinity scarf for me.

What's that? You wanted to see what I was wearing underneath? It's a green sweater. A cute one, mind you, but hardly worth the frostbite I might have incurred had I taken a picture of it. Oh, not because I would have frozen without my coat. Because my husband didn't wear a coat outside to take my pictures and was about one shot away from running inside and locking me out there all night long. It's delightfully chilly, though. I'm thinking tonight I'll have a fire and drink hot things. I don't miss shorts weather one. bit.

Scarf, The Limited (different color but similar).
Sweater, The Limited.
Coat, Forever 21 (kind of similar, but mostly just cute).
Boots, JustFab.

What I Wore :: In the Trenches

We were shocked to come back from Mexico (90's) to cool, crisp temps in Little Rock (45 when we landed! eek!). I have been pushing fall for weeks now, but it finally feels like it's here.

I like to layer up this time of year, as it tends to be warm inside and cool outside. Not cold, mind you, so this light trench with 3/4 length sleeves was perfect for my errands this afternoon (a little light grocery shopping and a trip to the mall).
My low ballerina bun had me feeling a little flightier than normal, so this skirted tunic felt appropriate to balance the menswear feel of the trench.

We also need to talk about these booties - JustFab of course - I love the mixed textures, the cute little cuff, and the sexy vibe of them. You may remember my mentioning that booties are perfect for transitioning seasons - these are what I was talking about.

Trench, Old Navy (similar). Leggings, Limited. Tunic I have no idea but here's a cute skirted one, booties, JustFab. Bag, Botkier for Target (love the color? love this Coach!)
