Party Hopping :: Say Hello to Versona!

Every now and again I get invited to various events around Little Rock (blogger perk?) and today it was the grand opening of Versona Accessories in Midtown! It opened today right next to the new Ulta (dude. Midtown is happening these days!) and they invited my friend Sandra and me to come and check it out.

What do you wear to a store opening? Well, pretty much what I wore all day. I've been dying to break out these Sole Society booties and this BaubleBar necklace, and I figured bold accessories were the way to go when visiting a store that sells them.

I got about 8 million compliments on this necklace. It's so much bigger than I thought it would be (always a good thing) and I'm just dying over the color. BaubleBar does it again!

Bouts to get our shop on! Yeah!

Alright, so here's the deal with Versona. It's way more than I even expected - jewelry, shoes, scarves, belts, bags...even clothes. Everything is color coordinated which is awesome. I picked up a weird bird ring that matched my outfit and a little something for my friend's birthday...and something for you guys!

BASKETS! PS, first 500 get a free tote with a $50 purchase so you know I was all over that.

Yep, check it out, I absolutely love this little bauble and I thought you would too! All you have to do to win it is - Like AJWearsClothes on Facebook, and leave a comment saying you did (or that you already do). It would be helpful if you followed the blog somehow as well, so I know you're not a freeloader. Oh, you know what, when you comment leave your email address so I can track you down when you win. It's that easy. I'll choose a winner next week but full disclosure, I may not be able to send it off before my wedding as things might get crazy.

Like. Comment. Win! And make sure you go visit Versona if you're in LR, I think you're in for a treat!

How I Wore :: Printed Pants

Supposedly, printed pants are going to be big for fall. I say supposedly because no one actually told me, but I'm seeing them everywhere and I couldn't wait to rock these JustFab leopard skinnies!

I'd say black is the easy way to go with leopard print, so I wanted to introduce color. As much as I would have loved pairing them with pink or red, I didn't care for the shape of those jackets so this teal boyfriend blazer ended up winning out.

I think that leopard is a neutral, but the key to rocking patterned pants is to keep the rest of your outfit fairly simple so it doesn't compete with the loud legs. I chose a longer blazer because it just seemed to balance out the business, and some chunky heels finish out my look. I can't wait to wear these with chunky sweaters, sheer button ups, and bright scarves! I think you'll be seeing a lot more of them this fall!
