AJ Wears :: A bright red blazer

Today's story is short and sweet. It's cold, and rainy, and it makes me want to do nothing but roll around in bed and eat chocolate. I still have to get out and interact with the general public, though, so I threw on my trusty wellies and hit the streets (ie target mall etc etc).

And everywhere I went, people complimented my outfit or my boots. And every time, I would say, "Thank you! It's the only way I can get dressed on days like these - if I wear something bright and fun!"

And that's the truth. Then my jacket split down the back and I moped the rest of the day. I didn't even want to take pictures I was so distraught - but I did some in the backyard anyway (so no one would see the giant hole in my jacket). The end!

What I Wore :: Game On

Another weekend means, MORE FOOTBALL! We southern girls love our college sports, I gotta tell you. Today we drove up to Fayetteville to go to the Arkansas/Alabama game. The weather was nasty (and the game turned out to be even nastier) which called for something comfortable and functional.

Rainboots? Check. Leggings? Yes. Plenty of room for nachos and hot dogs. Cozy cardi in team colors? All systems go. Alabama has a corner on the houndstooth, so I declared Arkansas the new stripes + leopard school.

Pre-game taco party at Jose's with our friends Melia and Zack. She was freaking out over these giant post-it's they wasted scratching game day sentiments all over.

Secret message in my cup! I was so excited when I drank enough Dr Pepper to see it! Woo cup sooie!

Don't forget your super fashionable poncho on rainy game days. We were pretty soggy and had to pick these up in the gift shop. Look how snazzy we are. I can't imagine why I didn't buy one sooner. I also bought a pompom, because I have SPIRIT DANGIT.

My Hunter wellies save the day again. I recommend buying a pair in your favorite team's colors if you're a sports fan! These were super cute for game day and kept my feet dry (the main point, of course.) We were sad the Hogs got "rolled" if you will, but I can verify that we out fashioned Alabama 100 to zip. Woo Pig Sooie!
