AJ Wears :: A Splatter Print Skirt

I have a hard time endorsing any of the shady (usually foreign) clothing websites. Quality is lacking, shipping takes forever, and sizes are all over the board. But let's face it, they can be a GREAT source for something super cheap and unique. So occasionally, I'll take a leap of faith and hope it pays off. This time it did - not only was the shipping crazy fast, this skirt is actually a winner. It's a great dupe for this Tibi number I always regretted not splurging on, but for like...$15. When midi skirts go out, I'll probably have it hemmed above the knee and just keep on wearing it.

Pardon the fuzziness, but these shoes are also something I missed out on and found later, for cheaper. JustFab has them in both black and red, and they could not be more perfect for the holidays! I would jump on these (the name is Hadley) because I bet they'll sell out quickly.

AJ Wears :: Printed Track Pants

I know you thought you'd never see these ridiculous pants again. That I bought them to blog and then they'd live in the back of my closet forever. Well, you were wrong. They're comfy like pajama pants and even if they look ridiculous, I somehow feel the slightest bit cooler than I actually am in them. I don't know if I'll ever venture out of my comfort zone and wear them with anything but black or white, but they definitely make my workday a little more fun!

Pants, 5/48 via Saks Off Fifth (exact - I'm wearing M but wish I'd bought S).
Shirt, ABS Platinum (similar if you like the sheer - similar if you like the shape).
Heels, c/o JustFab (exact sans subscription from Heels.com - with removable fringe!).
Glasses, Karen Walker via Bib+Tuck (exact).

AJ Wears :: Southern Style (giveaway closed)

Southern Style has its own sort of charm. I think of lazy summer days lounging around on picnic blankets and large hats with sweet tea on the porch. The actuality is me sweating the instant I walk outside and putting on only things that don't touch my body. I'm always trying to evolve my summer style into something that still looks fresh, put together AND cool enough for 100+ temps. Enter: cute sundresses and printed shorts.

Belk reached out to me and asked me to pick out some of my favorite pieces from their Crown & Ivy line. The line is beautifully southern chic - think Lilly, Tory, and Kate at delightfully reasonable prices. Right now the line is full of summery prints like this dress (it comes in shorts too!). Also, hello striped tee with a lobster on it. I love lobsters and I love stripes, so CLEAR need.

Now on to the good stuff - Belk is awesome and is hosting a giveaway for a $75 giftcard! Enter below via Rafflecopter - you'll notice the big points maker is posting a photo IN Crown & Ivy gear. Hashtag a photo of your dressing room snaps or pieces you already have with #moderntwist and you'll get 10x the entries.

And, so you can check out the line for yourself, Belk is offering $10 off a $50 Crown & Ivy purchase with coupon code 26815885. This can be used for online and in store purchases - this printable coupon can be taken into the store: http://bit.ly/1kMkTp5. The coupon is valid until June 15, so hop to it.
