AJ Wears :: A Stripe Sweater

You know what my closet REALLY NEEDED?? ...another striped sweater. I know, I know, that's a lie, but I came to terms with the fact that I love stripes last year. And if you love wearing something, feel free to buy multiple items that fall in that category because that's what you're going to reach for. The fact is, I can't wear the same striped sweater every day, so if I want to wear a striped sweater I have options now. See? I can justify just about anything. Plus, it's cashmere so it's basically like, a need.

Also, I was TOTALLY that girl that busted out a sweater, leather, and booties the second the temperature dropped. I regret nothing.

Sweater, Equipment via Last Call (exact but whoa, I paid WAY less so wait for a good sale, similar for less).
Button Up, Bardot (similar).
Skirt, Trina Turk (similar from Sanctuary).
Booties, c/o JustFab Luxe (exact).
Bag, Coach via Marshall's (similar from Sole Society, this year's version from Coach).

AJ Wears :: A cropped sweater

One of the biggest stresses of a closet clean out is the worry that you'll throw away something you may want later. With all of the clothing giveaways I've been doing lately, this little cropped sweater some how got lost and I was just sick that I'd finally given it away. And then magically, this weekend, I found it in our spare bedroom and was ecstatic.

I found the thing at Goodwill about a million years ago (college, maybe??) and suspect it's not a "cropped" sweater so much as a dry clean only sweater and someone failed to read the tag. One girl's dry cleaning disaster is another girl's beloved retro sweater. It's almost too warm to wear, but I wanted to get one last wear in before it's completely out of season.
