AJ Wears :: A Pug Tee

True story: My outfit was inspired by a dog today.

I was watching a "fall fashion for dogs" segment on the news this morning (not kidding), and one of the pups was sporting a fly buffalo plaid look. Remembering a red plaid in the back of my closet, I popped it around my waist with my favorite Pug Tee from Fur & Collar. Yes, that's totally a plug for F&C by the way, but it's allowed because it's my husband's tee company (use coupon WOOF5 for 5% off and free shipping!). I wore the pug tee in honor of the dog that helped me get dressed today.

Also, we can file this under "Faking Fall" since this week in Arkansas has been ripe with high 80s and 90s. When attempting to stay cool but look fall, tie a flannel around your waist to pretend like you may throw it on at any minute when a chill hits the air. It's a 90's inspired trick (temp or decade, you decide!) anyone can pull off. If you're going for more of a Boy George look, throw on a felt hat as well. Fall!

AJ Wears :: A Black Maxi

There are a few things that all girls say when someone compliments them.

1. "Thank you! I got it at (weird store, like Walmart), can you believe it?"

2. "Oh my gosh, thank you. This thing was like, $7."

3. "It has pockets!"

Yes, my friends, this lovely structured shift has pockets, a magical feature most gals can't keep to themselves. They held nothing but my hand as I posed for these pictures or stood awkwardly waiting for someone to tell me what to do, but everyone knows: Pockets on a skirt or dress make it instantly 1000x better.

Dress, Theory (rent it // similar from Asos).
Belt, Gap (similar from The Limited).
Bag, Balenciaga.
Heels, Zara (similar).

AJ Wears :: A Snow Hat

Remember my snow disappointment earlier this week? All has been forgiven, because we got a nice hearty snow overnight on Friday and BOOM. What you're seeing here is one of the happiest gals in the world.

I own two things that I can only wear a few times a year. My snow boots, and now thanks to my husband, a hat that says snow on it. I actually put it on as soon as it started snowing. Almost slept in it. I love snow, and I love my snow hat, and that's all you need to know about me.

Hat, Gift from my husband!! But the tag says Gap.
Shirt, c/o SheIn (exact. so cute).
