AJ Wears :: A Wrap Jacket

Today's look is ALL. ABOUT. THE JACKET. When Kris&Kate reached out to send me something to review, I was afraid it wouldn't be cool enough to wear a jacket. Lucky for me, we had one glorious 70 degree day that turned into a cool night, making it the perfect opportunity to wear it. As for the review - it's a rave! This jacket is adorable, got lots of compliments, and I'm already eying several other pieces on their website...You know that store you walk into and want everything? This is that store. Also, they give 10% of every purchase as a microloan for women in a third world country to start their own businesses. You can read more about their mission and pick out your next cozy sweater here. And because they're awesome, they've given you a special code! Use "ajwearsclothes" for 20% off your next purchase (it's only good until Oct 16, so get on it!).

Bag, Michael Kors (exact without grommets).
Booties, ShoeMint (similar from Sears).
All Jewelry, BaubleBar.

Faking Fall :: Vests + Short Sleeves

It's no secret that outfits with layers look more interesting than those without. I've used vests the past few summers over sleeveless tops to add a little something to an otherwise boring tank dress. So naturally, it makes the perfect Faking Fall piece. It helps that they're currently in style, so you can find lots of great styles right now. I tend to favor the sleeveless blazer and the utility look. This is actually my second vest outfit this week! I wore one yesterday that I didn't manage to snap a photo of. I'm telling you, they're awesome.

Tunic, Neiman Marcus via Last Call (exact).
Vest, H&M (similar from Chico's).
Boots, JustFab LUXE (exact).
Bag, 3.1 Phillip Lim.
Necklace, BaubleBar (similar).

And I have a few vest options from my archives for you too! I apparently like to keep my vest outfits pretty neutral. This one from H&M gets a LOT of wear. It was a total impulse buy like two years ago and I love it!
