JustFab Denim Party PLUS Giveaway!

I'm really excited to be teaming up with JustFab today to show off their new spring denim. I've always been a huge fan (seen here, here, here, and here...along with a dozen others). Their new spring denim might be the BEST YET - I'm not exaggerating. I couldn't wait to get my hands on the new ombre denim and try my hand at styling it a few ways for you guys. Plus, they gave me a few credits to hand out! I tried to put together a dressy outfit, casual every day outfit, and something to look forward to once spring finally comes in.

Not every night out has to be over-the-top fancy - I love using a fun jacket and a little sparkle to dress up jeans for dinner and drinks.

I always like to throw a super casual look into a three ways post, because I know most people dress for comfort and I like showing how versatile a piece can be. This happens to be one of my favorite sweaters - I have no idea why I bought it but I used to leave it in my desk at work because it was so warm and cozy. The jeans are so stretchy I think they'd be perfect for studying or lounging in a cozy wrap sweater and t-shirt.

It's so close to warmer weather, I had to try and style a spring-ish type outfit so you had some ideas moving forward. I think the ombre jeans will look SO FUN with some florals and chambray - and as it turns out, both! This spring I'll probably style these with a white tee, slouchy pink tank, or my striped blazer. Wear these jeans just like you would any colored denim, but keep it a little simple so you're not competing with the ombre.

JustFab's spring denim line so far includes the ombre in two colors, a fantastic floral, two colors of tuxedo jeans, and those adorable contrasting cuff jeans. I want them all! They also plan on releasing even more denim all spring! As far as fit, I ordered the same size as I normally do in JF denim (27) and they're pretty close to how I like my jeans to fit. The fabric is a little thinner than the signature skinny solid colors, and has more stretch (for those of you who have ordered before).

Okay! In love? Totally convinced? Here's the fun part! JustFab offered up THREE giftcards to give away to my darling blog friends, so just enter below and I'll be announcing the winner after the giveaway ends on Friday. I used Rafflecopter so you guys can enter as many or as few times as you like. And, if you haven't signed up for JustFab yet - use this link and you'll get a special offer on your first purchase. If you join and make a purchase in February, email me (aj@ajwearsclothes.com) and let me know - because JustFab will send you a free bag for signing up at my "denim party". HOW FUN IS THAT? Can You Blog With a Phone? (Giveaway closed)

SUPER excited to bring you guys an awesome giveaway today - When HTC asked me to try out the One X+ for blogging, I was geeked. A - Free Stuff (love it). 2: Tech + Fashion? Yes Please! and on top of that, I get to give one away to you guys. But not after we dive into whether or not you can actually blog with it.

All of today's outfit photos were taken with the One X+. I'm constantly working to improve my photos and love my DSLR, but I don't always have it with me (or the time to snap outfit photos). So the idea that a mobile phone could be a substitute for my beloved Nikon definitely piqued my interest.

The HTC One X+ boasts a 8mp camera with a 28mm, 2.0f lens - and comes with 64 GIGS of space! Plenty of room for hoarding photos of your shoes. It lets you simultaneously shoot video and snap photos, which is perfect for taking pictures of my dog. The camera is easy to work, and images come out quite crisp when you take them, almost as if there's an applied sharpness to the camera app. There's a setting that lets you take photos just by tapping the screen though, which I love. The flash is a little power house too. They were large enough that I could crop them and still size them down for this blog (so I didn't lose quality). And I looooooove this - I could share them immediately from my camera roll to dropbox so I could grab them on my laptop and open in photoshop in like, 2 seconds.

Not bad, right? And I was toting an iPhone 4S before this, so this thing is fast, too. LTE is a little ridiculous - as in, faster than my home wifi sometimes. I'll post a review later on more phone specs and talk about the transition from iOS to Android, but I have to say I've been pretty impressed with this little guy.

Other cool features on it I thought were great for fashion blogging - the front camera actually takes pretty great photos and does a countdown when you hit the shutter so you can position yourself properly. Perfect for those outfit selfies. And it still has all of my favorite fashion apps - including Pose (yay!).

SO....you so want one now, don't you? Good. This thing is like $600 without a contract and I'm pretty sure you're going to love it, so I'm giving one away which let's face it, is kind of cool for all of us. Just enter via Rafflecopter at the bottom here and I'll choose a winner on Friday, Feb 1st! You can enter daily if you like spamming your friends on Twitter, but you don't have to do everything to win. Just pick and choose your favorites. Please note - this is an AT&T Phone (but still has great wifi). Good luck!

Party Hopping :: Say Hello to Versona!

Every now and again I get invited to various events around Little Rock (blogger perk?) and today it was the grand opening of Versona Accessories in Midtown! It opened today right next to the new Ulta (dude. Midtown is happening these days!) and they invited my friend Sandra and me to come and check it out.

What do you wear to a store opening? Well, pretty much what I wore all day. I've been dying to break out these Sole Society booties and this BaubleBar necklace, and I figured bold accessories were the way to go when visiting a store that sells them.

I got about 8 million compliments on this necklace. It's so much bigger than I thought it would be (always a good thing) and I'm just dying over the color. BaubleBar does it again!

Bouts to get our shop on! Yeah!

Alright, so here's the deal with Versona. It's way more than I even expected - jewelry, shoes, scarves, belts, bags...even clothes. Everything is color coordinated which is awesome. I picked up a weird bird ring that matched my outfit and a little something for my friend's birthday...and something for you guys!

BASKETS! PS, first 500 get a free tote with a $50 purchase so you know I was all over that.

Yep, check it out, I absolutely love this little bauble and I thought you would too! All you have to do to win it is - Like AJWearsClothes on Facebook, and leave a comment saying you did (or that you already do). It would be helpful if you followed the blog somehow as well, so I know you're not a freeloader. Oh, you know what, when you comment leave your email address so I can track you down when you win. It's that easy. I'll choose a winner next week but full disclosure, I may not be able to send it off before my wedding as things might get crazy.

Like. Comment. Win! And make sure you go visit Versona if you're in LR, I think you're in for a treat!

Jacket, top, XXI. Jeggings, Limited. Booties, Helena by Sole Society. Necklace, BaubleBar. Bag, Botkier for Target.
